Each year on March 31, the park’s anniversary date, a special opening performance and approximately one hour of special character greetings are held after opening.

We met Reika Ayanokoji; Deacon, the Smokers and the sheriff; Sesame Street characters Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby and Zoe; Snoopy, Charlie Brown and Lucy; Beetlejuice, Frankenstein, HIP and HOP.

According to NHK reporting, more than 600 crew members took part in the welcome.
