Zen and Ghibli Kyoto Exhibition: A Full Tour Connecting The Boy and the Heron with Zen

On-site look at the “Zen and Ghibli” Kyoto exhibition at Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art. The exhibition connects Zen ideas with Studio Ghibli works including The Boy and the Heron, Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle and My Neighbor Totoro. It features spaces inspired by the films, conversations involving Hayao Miyazaki and Toshio Suzuki, “Ghibli Zen,” merchandise, photo spots and a hidden Totoro. The exhibition runs through December 6, 2026.
