🎥 The Moving Finale of the Canada Pavilion at the Osaka-Kansai Expo!

The removal event for the hugely popular "CANADA" sign took place at the venue after the closing of the expo. 🇨🇦✨

The theme of the Canada Pavilion was "Regeneration."

75% of the exhibits were reusable, and the "CANADA sign," a popular photo spot, symbolized this.

This sign will be moved to Natori City, Miyagi Prefecture, a city with which Canada has had long-standing ties.

Natori City received Canadian support during the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake.

The two cities have been connected by deep ties, including the construction of the Maple Pavilion.

At the removal ceremony, there was a humorous touch: removing the "NA" from "CANADA" to make it "Natori"!

Canada's representative, Laurie, expressed his gratitude in Osaka dialect, saying "Ookini!" (Thank you very much!), making it a warm ceremony symbolizing "regeneration and friendship" between Canada and Japan.
