Orcas have arrived in Kobe! Suma Aquarium (Suma Sui) was rebuilt after its closure into a massive resort area. I filmed the orca show at the preview from the restaurant. Since the other reporters left partway through, I, the editor-in-chief of Happiel, had the luxury of enjoying Stella Run's underwater show all to myself.

Please also enjoy the rare footage of Stella Run moving freely from side to side within the gigantic 21-meter-wide acrylic tank.

A cute mother and baby orca. You can visit them even outside of show times, so I'd love to spend the whole day watching them from opening to closing time and be soothed by their presence!

Orcas are called "orcas" in Japanese.

By train: Nearest station: JR Suma Kaihin Koen Station. Shinkansen (bullet train): Get off at Shin-Kobe Station, then take the subway.
By car: From Osaka/Nagoya, take the Hanshin Expressway Kobe Line to Minatogawa IC.
From Okayama/Awaji Island, take the Daini-Shinmei Expressway to Suma IC.

Adults: 2900-3700 yen, Children: 1700-1800 yen. Free for children under 3 years old.
