[Osaka-Kansai Expo] Signature Pavilion "null2 (Nurunuru)" Experience Report

We infiltrated "Nurunuru," the "Refining Life" pavilion created by media artist Yoichi Ochiai! While it felt like a world reminiscent of *Evangelion*, according to Ochiai's social media posts, it's based on the Heart Sutra.

👁‍🗨 A fully-surfaced video space where you enter after removing your shoes, and an interactive theater where your body is digitized. 📖 Exhibits that make you deeply consider "what you are" through AI and video. ✨ The exterior lights up beautifully at night, and the building itself seems to come alive – a must-see!

🚶‍♂️ There are areas you can enter without a reservation! However, numbered tickets may be distributed, so check on-site.

Media artist. Born in 1987, began his artistic career around 2010. His works explore themes of materialization and transformation in boundary realms, and a yearning for mass. Associate Professor at the University of Tsukuba, Theme Project Producer for the 2025 Japan International Exposition (Osaka-Kansai Expo).
