Theme Pavilion
This is the centerpiece pavilion of GREEN×EXPO 2027.
“Discover the astonishing systems of nature”
Plants have extraordinary networks. Cutting-edge imaging technology will make those networks visible.
Objects and devices will be arranged throughout an installation in which the exhibition space itself becomes the artwork.
Visitors can experience the interconnectedness of all life and efforts to address environmental challenges by harnessing nature.
In the concept video, guests walk through a giant picture book and reveal the next part of the story as they move forward.
It looks like an exciting exhibit with the sense of wonder of a Tokyo Disneyland attraction.
The roots of the “Miracle Pine” exhibit introduce the underground networks that plants build with fungi.
Government Exhibition
This will be the largest pavilion at GREEN×EXPO 2027.
It will cover 25,000 square meters, about half the area of Tokyo Dome.

GREEN×EXPO 2027 Villages
Here is an introduction to the exhibitions planned for the Villages.
At Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, they were called pavilions. At GREEN×EXPO 2027, however, the experience is created not by a single building but by an entire themed town or area. A Village brings together multiple exhibits, gardens, and hands-on experiences.
For now, only the exteriors, themes, and broad formats—such as viewing-based or interactive exhibits—have been announced. This article will be updated as more details become available.
null⁴ (Tetra Null)
null² (Null Null) from Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai is reborn as null⁴ (Tetra Null)!
The four massive structures each carry a particular meaning.

“KT Group Exhibition Hall” — KT Group Co., Ltd.
This Village is themed around “vehicles” delivering “energy” wherever and whenever it is needed.
The building appears to be made from interlocking movable units.
What Is the KT Group?
The group consists of 13 Toyota-affiliated companies in Kanagawa Prefecture, including Kanagawa Toyota.

This is an interactive Village.
It presents a “well-being society” where industry, nature, and culture exist in harmony and happiness circulates.
Moving beyond the boundaries of telecommunications and digital technology, it connects people with people and communities with communities.
Those connections continue to circulate, creating a “well-being society” where happiness goes around.
The exterior expresses a society in which people and nature coexist.
Well-being is likely to become an increasingly important keyword; Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai even featured a dedicated Theme Week organized by another host.
“Mitsubishi Pavilion for Everyone’s Future” — Mitsubishi General Committee for the International Horticultural Expo
The Mitsubishi Pavilion for Everyone’s Future invites visitors to rediscover, through an enjoyable experience, the importance of harmony among nature, people, and society.
Its theme is “A Flourishing Planet Connected by Everyone.”
The exhibition is designed to help every visitor reaffirm the importance of thinking and taking action together about “future urbanization and coexistence with nature.”
The word “Everyone’s” was added to the name to express the idea of “creating a happy tomorrow together.”
Following Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Mitsubishi will also exhibit at GREEN×EXPO 2027.
It has participated in every world expo held in Japan.

“KAJIMA TREE” — Kajima Corporation
“KAJIMA TREE” tells a story of people and nature connecting tomorrow to the future.
It will present a new landscape for the cities of the future.
Timber from the Grand Ring will be reborn through advanced technology.
The tree will become a symbol of GREEN×EXPO 2027.
The Grand Ring that captivated visitors at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai will appear in a new form at GREEN×EXPO 2027.
TOHO-LEO Co., Ltd.
The studio will reuse lighting, mist systems, and other elements from the Panasonic Group Pavilion “The Land of NOMO” at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.

Companies and artists will collaborate beyond the usual boundaries between exhibitors.
“Takenaka Village” — Takenaka Group
“Takenaka Village” will accelerate decarbonization, natural cycles, and coexistence with nature.
It aims to create a flourishing society through regenerative approaches.
Visitors can enjoy experiencing natural cycles firsthand.

A second-floor deck connects multiple spaces and offers views of the trees.
The exhibition explores the many relationships between forests, trees, plants, and society.

OBAYASHI CORPORATION
The company defines the ideal vision for 2050 as a world in which “the planet, society, and people” exist in harmony.
“A nation that has built an ideal city in harmony with nature”
“A nation where living in space has become part of everyday life”
Set in these two nations, the exhibit explores how to sustain natural, comfortable happiness.

Families can have fun while learning to consider the question, “What can we do to live in harmony with the Earth?”
SOTETSU PARK
This area is symbolized by a train car of the future. It is designed for visitors to learn while enjoying nature, making it an interactive facility unique to a themed commercial exhibit.
Daiwa House Group Endless Heart Park
With the theme “We Build Future Living: From Our Origins to the Future,” this Village lets visitors experience a future way of life woven together by natural elements such as wind, sunlight, water, and greenery.
Tokyu Group Pavilion
Under the theme “GREEN LIFESTYLE 2050: Nurturing from Seeds and Connecting to the Future,” this Village proposes a new lifestyle that blends nature and the city and offers a co-creation experience in which visitors help shape the future.

GREEN×EXPO 2027 Flower and Greenery Exhibitions
Garden works and products such as plants, decorations, and materials will be displayed.
A total of 287 exhibits are planned.
Participating exhibitors will include schools, botanical gardens, landscaping and horticulture companies, and fresh-flower organizations.

Reuse from the Women’s Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai
The three-dimensional lattice and geometric kumiko facade will be reused as the facade of a temporary indoor exhibition facility.
First used for the Japan Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, it then appeared at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai and will continue on to GREEN×EXPO 2027 in 2027, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to sustainability.
