USJ Halloween Horror Nights 2024 is available as a horror attraction experience.
The Biohazard for 2024 is an outdoor attraction.

It introduces a new concept called 360-Degree Live Horror.
You can enjoy battles between heroes from the Biohazard series and zombies and creatures.

Story

You find yourself lost in an abandoned Umbrella research facility from long ago.

Together with Claire, Chris, Leon, and Jill who arrived,
can you survive the hellish lab where hordes of zombies and even greater horrors are attacking?!

USJ Biohazard 2024: How to Experience and How to Get a Ticket Number

This attraction requires a ticket number.
You cannot experience it by waiting in line.
(In previous Biohazard events, no ticket number was needed on days when it was not crowded, but this year, due to shorter operating hours, experiencing it without a ticket number will be difficult.)

However, if you purchase the eligible Express Pass, a ticket number is not required.
Previously, both app and paper ticket numbers were distributed, but in 2024, only app-based ticket numbers are available.
Be sure to download the official USJ app in advance.

Attraction Experience Hours

It operates from 6:00 PM until park closing.
In previous years, it was held from the morning until closing, but this year, the operating hours have been significantly shortened.
This means the number of people who can experience it has likely been greatly reduced.

How to Obtain a Ticket Number

1) Register your admission ticket or annual pass QR code in the app.
(You can register the tickets of friends who are experiencing it with you together. However, if a friend registers with an annual pass, make sure to delete the registered QR code after experiencing the attraction.)

2) Once you enter USJ, tap the “e-Ticket Number" button shown in the photo above.

A menu for “Attraction Lottery Ticket" and “Ticket Number" will appear, so select “Ticket Number."

Several available times will be displayed; please choose one.

3) Once the QR code is displayed, take a screenshot and save it.

Attraction Experience Location: Entrance

The Biohazard attraction is usually held in the back area (backyard) of the park where guests cannot enter.

Last year, it was behind the gate where Vampire Zombies and others appeared.
(The end point of the parade. Exit gate.)

It is located slightly to the right of where the Biohazard attraction was held until last year.

USJ Biohazard 2024: Strategy

This is an attraction that cannot be experienced without obtaining a ticket number.
The available experience time has been reduced to about one-third of last year.
Therefore, it is highly likely that not all interested individuals will be able to experience it.

If you arrive at USJ in the afternoon or later, consider purchasing an Express Pass.

For those not purchasing an Express Pass, it is recommended to arrive at USJ by 8:00 AM.
If you enter the park late, even if ticket numbers are still available, there is a possibility that only ticket numbers for experience times around 9:00 PM remain.

USJ Biohazard 2024: Ticket Number Distribution Status

On the first day, September 6th, as of 9:40 AM, ticket numbers for times after 6:45 PM were being distributed.
Whether they didn’t know they needed to obtain them via the app or wanted to see street zombies, the rate at which ticket numbers were being depleted was not very fast.

On weekdays in September, there were many days where ticket numbers were still available as of 5:00 PM.
Even in the 8:00 PM slot, there were days when time-specific ticket numbers for 9:00 PM could still be obtained.

In the latter half of September on weekdays and on rainy days on October 3rd, it was possible to experience it without a ticket number with wait times under 10 minutes.
On weekends in September, there were days when ticket numbers were still available around 5:00 PM.

On weekends in October, ticket number distribution had ended by 7:00 PM. It might have ended even earlier.

Note: You Will Get Wet with a Lot of Water

Depending on where you stand, you may get drenched in the latter half of the show.
Cameras and smartphones might get soaked.
Please be careful.

Additionally, if you are instructed to “crouch" during the show, please squat down.
You won’t be told to stand up, but wait for the right timing to stand.
Then you will be told to “crouch" again.

USJ Biohazard 2024: Will It Be Held or Canceled on Rainy Days?

Since it is an outdoor attraction, it may be canceled in the event of heavy rain.
During the press event, there was a sudden heavy rainstorm just before starting, and operations were suspended during the rainfall, but they resumed as soon as the rain stopped, indicating that the attraction is likely to be resilient to rain.

Even with light rain, there may be partial content changes or shortened operating hours, but it is often still held.

This time, some people are experiencing the attraction with umbrellas, but using an umbrella will completely block your view of the people behind you.
Additionally, various things happen above eye level, so you won’t be able to see them yourself.

We recommend experiencing it wearing rain gear such as raincoats or ponchos.

USJ Biohazard 2024: Recommended Viewing Locations

The show is held surrounded by 360 degrees, but there are areas where characters appear for longer/more times and areas where they appear briefly/fewer times.

There are no seats, making it a bit difficult to determine front, back, left, or right.
Additionally, the show may have already started while you are entering the venue.

Stage Front

The front of the stage is on the left side once the waiting line doors open.
Most of the characters appear here and appear for extended periods, but you will be attacked by zombies.

Also, be aware that you are more likely to get drenched with a lot of water here.

Stage Back Side

A temporary stage is set up slightly higher than the second floor.
If you pass through the gate and proceed straight without turning, you will reach the left side stage of the back.

After passing through the gate and proceeding to the end, turn left to reach the right side of the back stage.

Rare characters may appear, and there may be actions happening right in front of you, so some people may prefer the back.

You can see the entire show, but the front stage is hard to see.
Also, the temporary stage on the left side of the back is somewhat hard to see.

This area is recommended for enjoying on your second visit or later.

Zombies attack, putting a woman in danger.
Then Claire appears and protects her with gunfire.

USJ Biohazard 2024: Survivors

In Biohazard: The Real 3 (held in 2015), out of 240,000 participants, only a few survivors emerged.
It was an almost impossible game to survive, with a survival rate of 0.003%.

In the 2023 Biohazard event, approximately 83% of participants survived. Most people experienced survival.
(This is asking for the highest clear rank, so it includes those who have failed to escape.)
The survival rate with the highest rank, S+ rank, was 9.8%. I also attempted it several times, but S rank was the highest I achieved.

There is no survival element in the 2024 Biohazard.
