15th-Anniversary Street Zombies and Zombie de Dance
Halloween Horror Nights 2026 marks 15 years since the event began in 2011.
Special 15th-anniversary features include Street Zombies, filling the park’s streets with more zombies than ever; Zombie de Dance set to King Gnu’s “SO BAD”; and a final performance reviving favorite songs from previous years.
Street Zombies begin at 6:00 p.m.

Street Zombies in 2026 features the largest number of zombies in the event’s history.
The story begins when a newly introduced high-school zombie spreads an infection, allowing hordes of vicious zombies to overrun everyday life in the park.
Event period: Friday, September 11–Sunday, November 8, 2026
Location: throughout the park, excluding certain areas
Time: 6:00 p.m.–park close
Age guidance: Not recommended for children age 5 and under; parental consent required for guests age 12 and under
Sponsored by: NTT DOCOMO, INC.
At 6:00 p.m., the atmosphere in the park changes dramatically from daytime. Guests who dislike zombies and families with small children should check the Safety Areas, Safety Routes, and their departure time in advance.
Zombie de Dance features King Gnu’s “SO BAD”

In 2026, zombies and guests come together to dance to King Gnu’s “SO BAD” during Zombie de Dance.
The final performance of each day is Playback Zombie de Dance – Halloween Horror Nights 15th Anniversary –, featuring popular songs from past years such as “Rat-tat-tat,” “Show,” and “SO BAD.”
Event period: Friday, September 11–Sunday, November 8, 2026
Location: various areas throughout the park
Time: 6:00 p.m.–park close
Final performance: Playback Zombie de Dance
There is only one final performance each night. It is not a separate show from the regular Zombie de Dance; the day’s last performance becomes the 15th-anniversary medley.

Location: Gramercy Park
Time: Varies by date
Special Viewing Area ticket: from US$13.13, tax included

Timed-Entry Tickets and Age Restrictions for Horror Attractions
In 2026, some horror attractions are available in the morning and afternoon before Halloween Horror Nights begins.
Resident Evil Requiem: The Dive and The Witches of Number 18 in particular require e-Timed Entry Tickets. After entering the park, check the official USJ app and secure your experience time first.
Resident Evil Requiem: The Dive

USJ and Capcom collaborate on the latest title in the series, Resident Evil Requiem. Set in the abandoned Wrenwood Hotel and a medical facility, this horror maze has creatures attacking from every direction, including above and below.

Event period: Friday, September 11–Sunday, December 27, 2026
Location: Stage 18
Time: 10:00 a.m.–park close
Access: e-Timed Entry Ticket required; Express Pass available

Location: Stage 22
Time: 10:00 a.m.–park close
Access: An e-Timed Entry Ticket may be required; Express Pass available
Age restriction: Guests age 14 and under or junior-high students and younger may not participate

KATE PRESENTS The Witches of Number 18 – The Witches’ House That Plays with Emotion –

In a mirror-filled mansion inhabited by four witches who rule joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure, guests reveal their emotions and use makeup to release feelings hidden within.
Event period: Friday, September 11–Sunday, November 8, 2026
Location: Stage 18
Time: 9:00 a.m.–park close
Access: e-Timed Entry Ticket required
Age restriction: Guests age 12 and under or elementary-school students and younger may not participate
Child Switch: Available
e-Timed Entry Tickets are available only through the official app. Depending on conditions that day, admission without an e-Timed Entry Ticket may be offered.

Location: Space Fantasy – The Ride
Time: Park open–park close
Age guidance: Parental consent required for guests age 12 and under
Express Pass: Available
Guests who dislike walkthrough horror may find a ride easier to try. However, use caution if you are sensitive to darkness, sudden effects, spinning, or ride motion.
Chainsaw Man: The Chaos 4-D

This original-story 4-D attraction puts you in the middle of a battle alongside Denji, Aki Hayakawa, Power, and Kobeni against the “Halloween Horror Nights Devil,” who commands an army of zombies.
Event period: Friday, September 11–Sunday, November 8, 2026
Location: Cinema 4-D Theater
Time: Park open–park close
Age guidance: Parental consent required for guests age 12 and under
Express Pass: Available
Although this is a seated theater attraction, it includes stimulating effects such as images of blood splatter, sound, vibration, and water spray. Guests sensitive to loud sounds or intense horror imagery should take care.
Smiley’s Happy Halloween Greeting

Smiley, an original character from Chainsaw Man: The Chaos 4-D, appears on the street near Cinema 4-D Theater.
Times vary by date, so check the show schedule for the day of your visit.
Night-Only Rides and Classic Halloween Horror Nights Songs
In addition to horror mazes and zombies, there are rides that change after sunset and rides where you can listen to songs from past Zombie de Dance performances.
JAWS: Red Alert

After sunset, JAWS is enveloped in darkness and dense fog. The surroundings turn bright red the instant the giant shark appears in this night-only boat tour.
Event period: Friday, September 11, 2026–Sunday, January 31, 2027
Location: JAWS
Time: After sunset–park close
The fear is less direct than in a walkthrough attraction, but children who dislike darkness, dense fog, or loud sounds should take care.
Jurassic Park – The Ride – In the Dark –

Traveling through darkness after sunset makes the dinosaurs feel closer and heightens the tension before the drop in this night-only version.
The attraction runs from Friday, September 11 through Sunday, November 8, 2026, from sunset until park close. Since you may get wet, bring a towel and plan for cooler temperatures on the way home.
Halloween Horror Nights Songs on Hollywood Dream – The Ride
King Gnu’s “SO BAD” is available on Hollywood Dream – The Ride from September 11 through November 8, 2026.

Recommended USJ Halloween Horror Nights 2026 Itinerary
In 2026, it is important to plan morning horror mazes separately from the street shows that begin at 6:00 p.m.
Itinerary Prioritizing Horror Attractions
- After entering: Check e-Timed Entry Tickets for Resident Evil and The Witches of Number 18
- Morning: Experience the horror mazes at your assigned timed-entry slots
- Midday: Eat and take a break early
- Late afternoon: Move to Gramercy Park or the area for the Zombie de Dance performance you want to see
- After 6:00 p.m.: Prioritize Street Zombies and Zombie de Dance
- Evening: Combine Sadako, JAWS, Jurassic Park, and other attractions
- Finale: Watch Playback Zombie de Dance
Resident Evil and The Witches of Number 18 are both held at Stage 18. Check each entrance and assigned timed-entry slot carefully so you do not go at the wrong time.
Itinerary Prioritizing Shows and Hamikuma
Build your plan around the Halloween Horror Nights Academy start time, fitting Zombie de Dance before and after it.
With a Special Viewing Area ticket, head to Gramercy Park early enough to meet the assembly time printed on the ticket. After the show, move to the streets and aim for the day’s final Playback Zombie de Dance performance.

Halloween Horror Nights on Rainy Days
Street Zombies, Zombie de Dance, and outdoor shows may be modified or canceled due to rain, strong winds, or safety concerns.
Watching a show with an open umbrella blocks other guests’ view and can be dangerous. Bring a raincoat or poncho, plus a towel, a change of clothes, and protection against the evening chill.
This article summarizes typical zombie appearances and greetings on rainy days.
Enjoy Halloween Horror Nights All Night
An all-night event runs from 10:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25 until 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, featuring special effects different from regular operation and shows available only that night.
