When Does USJ Halloween Horror Nights 2026 Start? What Time Does It Begin?

USJ Halloween Horror Nights 2026 Dates

The 2026 “Halloween Horror Nights” event runs from Friday, September 11 through Sunday, November 8.

Street Zombies and Zombie de Dance begin at 6:00 p.m..

However, “Horror Nights” does not mean that every experience starts at 6:00 p.m.

Some horror attractions, including Resident Evil, Factory of Fear, and The Witch of No. 18, are available from the morning.

  • Full fall event season: Thursday, September 10–Sunday, November 8, 2026
  • Halloween Horror Nights: Friday, September 11–Sunday, November 8
  • Street Zombies: 6:00 p.m.–park close

If you want to experience USJ Horror Nights as a whole, plan your visit between September 11 and November 8.

Resident Evil, Sadako, Jaws, and some other experiences continue after Horror Nights ends, so mid-November or later can still work if those are your only priorities.

Check e-Timed Entry Tickets First After Entering the Park

For making the most of Horror Nights in 2026, one of the most important things is the morning e-timed entry ticket.

Rather than simply waiting for Street Zombies to begin at 6:00 p.m., check the official USJ app as soon as you enter the park.

What to check after entering the park
• “Resident Evil Requiem: The Dive”
• KATE PRESENTS “The Witch of No. 18”
• Same-day access procedures for Factory of Fear

Distribution status and operating procedures can change on the day, so checking the official app on the day of your visit is the most reliable approach.

You can use your day efficiently by experiencing horror attractions in the morning and afternoon, then enjoying Street Zombies and Zombie de Dance after 6:00 p.m.

Recommended USJ Halloween Horror Nights 2026 Itinerary

In 2026, the key is to treat “morning e-timed entry tickets” and “after 6:00 p.m.” as two separate parts of the day.

If You Want to Experience Many Horror Attractions

  • Right after entering: Check e-timed entry tickets
  • Morning–afternoon: Experience horror mazes at your assigned times
  • By 5:00 p.m.: Finish meals and breaks
  • During the 5:00 p.m. hour: Move to the zombie area you want to see
  • After 6:00 p.m.: Street Zombies and Zombie de Dance
  • At night: Combine Sadako, Jaws, and other attractions
  • At the end: Playback Zombie de Dance

If You Prioritize the Hamikuma Show

Build your schedule around the Horror Nights Academy performance time.

If you have a Special Viewing Area ticket, head to Gramercy Park before the designated meeting time.

After the show, moving on to Street Zombies and Zombie de Dance is an efficient plan.

Is Horror Nights Scary? Tips for Children and Guests Who Don’t Like Horror

Halloween Horror Nights is not recommended for children age 5 and under, and guests age 12 and under require parental consent to participate.

Resident Evil, Factory of Fear, The Witch of No. 18, Zanzou, and some other attractions have stricter age restrictions.

Street Zombies begin at 6:00 p.m. Families with small children, guests who are uncomfortable with loud sounds or darkness, and anyone who does not want to see zombies should check Safety Areas, Safety Routes, dining locations, and their route to the exit by the 5:00 p.m. hour.

If You Want to Avoid Zombies

Horror Nights does not mean zombies appear everywhere in the park.

If you are visiting with someone who is scared of them, check the Safety Areas and Safety Routes on the Horror Nights map in advance.

Rather than looking them up just before 6:00 p.m., it is reassuring to check the actual locations while it is still light.

During the daytime, there are also non-horror Halloween events such as Minion greetings and “Trick or Treat!”

See here for the full USJ fall event lineup, including daytime events.

What Happens at Horror Nights on a Rainy Day?

Street Zombies, Zombie de Dance, and outdoor shows may be modified or canceled because of rain, strong winds, or safety concerns.

If you plan to watch a show, a raincoat or poncho can make it easier to move around than an umbrella.

Also plan for a towel and change of clothes after getting wet, as well as cooler nighttime temperatures.

See here for information about zombie appearances and greetings on rainy days.

Horror Nights All-Night Event

An all-night event with a special version of Horror Nights, different from regular park operations, will run from 10:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25 to 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

A regular Studio Pass or Annual Pass alone is not enough to participate.

The event includes one-night-only shows, special zombie effects, and other content different from regular Horror Nights.

Hamikuma, Chucky, Limited-Time Food, and Merchandise

Chucky

Chucky is not included among the major horror attractions announced for Horror Nights 2026.

See here for information on past Chucky experiences.

Hamikuma

Hamikuma appears in the 15th-anniversary special stage show, “Horror Nights Academy.”

See here for the latest Hamikuma information.

Limited-Time Halloween Food

USJ Limited-Time Halloween Food 2026

Limited-time food designed to enjoy alongside Horror Nights is also available.
