USJ Crowd Forecast for October 2026
Even on weekdays, attendance rises in the evening as students and office workers arrive after school or work.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings in the second half of October are expected to be extremely crowded.
For visits from September 1 onward, ticket prices rise on dates with strong sales. Buying early can help you get a lower price.

SUPER NINTENDO WORLD Timed Entry Ticket Availability and Crowds
SUPER NINTENDO WORLD requires a free Area Timed Entry Ticket, an Express Pass, or an Area Entry Guarantee included with a JTB hotel package.
Timed Entry Tickets specify when you may pass through the area entrance. On crowded days, the assigned time may be several hours later.
Enter the park as early as possible and obtain a Timed Entry Ticket immediately after entering.
Once Timed Entry Tickets run out, distribution switches to lottery tickets.
The chance of winning the lottery is very low.

Hello Kitty’s Cupcake Dream
Even on extremely crowded days, the wait rarely exceeds 30 minutes.
Hogwarts Castle Walk
This attraction lets you walk through Hogwarts Castle and enjoy the world of Harry Potter.
WaterWorld
This show attraction brings movie stunts to life right in front of you in a venue that holds more than 3,000 guests.
Because performances have set start times, you may be able to enter shortly before showtime if admission has not reached capacity.
On crowded days, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early.
Attractions Eligible for Yoyakunori
For attractions in Universal Wonderland—such as The Flying Snoopy, Elmo’s Go-Go Skateboard, and Moppy’s Balloon Trip—you can obtain a free timed ticket called Yoyakunori.
On crowded days, Yoyakunori distribution may end early. Soon after entering the park, use the Yoyakunori ticket machine near the attraction you want to experience.

When attraction waits are already long, you probably want to avoid another long wait for lunch.

Use Priority Seating
Three USJ restaurants allow you to reserve a visit time in advance.
You can also order an anniversary cake as an optional add-on.
This is not a table reservation. When you arrive during your reserved time slot, you will receive priority seating as soon as a table becomes available.
On some crowded days, you may also register at the restaurant entrance and receive an automated phone call when your turn is approaching, allowing you to be seated after a short wait.

This restaurant serves authentic dry-aged beef and beer.
Beyond lunch, you can relax in the spacious dining room and enjoy desserts such as parfaits.

Here are some good options.
Discovery Restaurant
Because it is located toward the back of the park, this restaurant is often a relatively uncrowded choice.
Mel’s Drive-In
Located near Hollywood Dream – The Ride, this restaurant also hosts the Power of Pop singing show on the stage in front.
Hamburgers are served quickly, and even if indoor seating is full, you can eat on the terrace or in the nearby mask-free zone by the lagoon benches. It is a good choice for a fast meal.
Recommended Restaurants to Visit During Off-Peak Hours
Avoid the peak restaurant period of about 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and you are more likely to be seated smoothly even on crowded days.
For popular restaurants, we recommend arriving during the 11 a.m. hour or after 1:30 p.m.
