A fascinating new spot has arrived for USJ’s 2026 Halloween Horror Nights!
Its name is… the “Zombie Bar”!
“What does it mean to have a zombie hand you your drink!?”
We had to find out, so we went to try it for ourselves!
This time, we not only tried a zombie drink available at night, but also the “Hami-Kuma Chocolate Sundae,” which you can buy during the day.
Both the menu and the atmosphere change dramatically between daytime and nighttime, so if you’re heading to USJ for Halloween, use this as a guide.
Where is the “Zombie Bar”?

The Zombie Bar is at Wharf Cafe, next to Happiness Cafe, the restaurant where you can enjoy Minion-themed food.
During the day, this is a place to enjoy Halloween-limited sweets and drinks, but at night it completely transforms!
To match the world of Halloween Horror Nights, it becomes the “Zombie Bar,” where zombies are waiting for you.
Some of the items sold differ between day and night, so if there’s a particular food or drink you’re after, be sure to check the time of day.
Night only! Drinks inspired by past zombies arrive
At the nighttime Zombie Bar, you’ll find drinks inspired by the zombies that have helped bring USJ’s Horror Nights to life over the years.
The night-only menu introduced this time includes:

Circus Zombie Madness — Lychee Non-Alcoholic Sour — ¥800 including tax
Chainsaw Zombie Rampage — Blood Orange & Lemon Sour — ¥900 including tax
Zombie Banana Ice — Does a Banana Count as a Snack? — ¥500 including tax
If you’ve enjoyed Horror Nights over the years, the menu names alone may be enough to get you excited.
Our Zombie Bar experience
This time, we tried the “Circus Zombie Madness”!
Order on a touch screen—and then when you go to pick it up…
At the Zombie Bar, you place your order on a touch-screen monitor.
So far, so normal…
The real surprise comes next.
When you head to the counter to pick up your order, there’s a zombie waiting for you!

A crew member in zombie makeup is waiting there and hands your order directly to you.
It’s so much fun! We couldn’t help watching even when other guests were picking up their orders.
They move like zombies, yet they still provide perfectly polite service, saying things like, “I’ll take your receipt,” which is enough to make you want to laugh.

If you talk to the hard-working zombie crew, they may even respond, so gather your courage and try speaking to them♪
Even though you’re simply buying a drink, the entire process up to receiving it becomes its own Halloween horror experience.
If you’re enjoying Horror Nights after dark, don’t just focus on the food and drinks themselves—be sure to enjoy the experience of “receiving it from a zombie,” too.
This is the first year you can have this kind of experience, so it’s worth checking out before it becomes a hot topic and lines start forming!!
That eyeball is terrifying! “Circus Zombie Madness”
What we actually tried was,

“Circus Zombie Madness — Lychee Non-Alcoholic Sour —” ¥800 including tax.
The first thing you notice is…
that huge, huge eyeball!!
The drink comes with a creepy eyeball topping, giving it a seriously striking look.
But if you’re planning to take photos, there’s one thing to keep in mind!
When you first receive the drink, the eyeball may not be facing neatly toward you.
It would be a shame to snap a photo and start drinking right away, so we recommend turning the eyeball to face forward before taking your picture!
If you’re going to photograph it, make it look as scary as possible!!
The eyeball is made of mochi, so it has a chewy texture and is surprisingly filling. If you’re already stuffed, you may want to save this for another time.
The drink looks scary, but the flavor is unexpectedly refreshing.
With such a strongly horror-themed appearance, we wondered if the flavor would be intense too—but it surprised us!
It’s a clean, refreshing lychee flavor that isn’t overly sweet.
It’s non-alcoholic, so people who don’t drink alcohol can enjoy it too.
There are also jelly and popping-texture toppings at the bottom, so the texture changes depending on where you sip from, making it fun all the way to the end.
Scary looks, refreshing taste.
That contrast is part of the fun!!
A “Cutie Zombie” drink you can buy from daytime, too!

There are also Halloween-limited items you can buy during the day, not just at night.
One of them is:
“Cutie Zombie’s Sweet Temptation — Strawberry Milk —” ¥750 including tax.
Unlike the nighttime Circus Zombie and Chainsaw Zombie items, even the name of this one sounds cute!
If you’re thinking, “I can’t wait until night!” or “Horror is a little scary, but I still want a limited-edition drink,” enjoying a zombie-themed menu item during the day is another good option.
Loaded with Hami-Kuma! “Hami-Kuma Chocolate Sundae”
And there was one more daytime item we tried:

“Hami-Kuma Chocolate Sundae” ¥1,100 including tax.
The first thing we thought when we saw it in person was…

Aren’t those toppings incredible!?
Churros, pretzels, marshmallows, Oreo cookies, and more are piled on generously.
It’s called a sundae, but if you order it imagining only ice cream, you may be surprised by how substantial it is.
Honestly, it feels like some people could get full just from the toppings.
It’s great for Hami-Kuma fans, of course, and also when you’re in the mood for a seriously sweet treat.
A lot of people may find that one is plenty to share between two.
But if you want to take this cup home… you’ll each need to eat one, so good luck!!

It’s extremely photogenic too, so be sure to get your pictures before you start eating♪
One thing to note: this sundae is only on sale through Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
It won’t be available for the entire Halloween season, so keep that in mind.
A Zombie Bar that makes you want to visit both day and night

The name alone gets your attention, but at night this Halloween-only spot lets you receive your drink directly from a crew member in zombie makeup.
What was especially fun about experiencing it is how the same Wharf Cafe offers a different way to enjoy it by day and by night.
During the day, you can enjoy photo-worthy Halloween food such as the Hami-Kuma sundae and the Cutie Zombie drink.
Then at night, it turns into the “Zombie Bar,” where you receive your drink from a zombie!
Zombies aren’t just out on the streets—you can stay immersed in the Horror Nights atmosphere even while buying food.
Don’t miss the experience of receiving your drink from a zombie!
USJ’s 2026 Halloween season marks the 15th anniversary of Halloween Horror Nights.
Debuting in this milestone year, the Zombie Bar is a new Halloween experience where the fun isn’t limited to the drink itself—it includes receiving your order from a zombie.
The “Circus Zombie Madness,” in particular, makes a huge impression with its eyeball!
When you take a photo, don’t forget to turn the eyeball to face the camera.
And be sure to keep the very substantial “Hami-Kuma Chocolate Sundae” on your list, too.
If you’re heading to USJ for Halloween, why not enjoy Hami-Kuma by day and the Zombie Bar by night, experiencing it at two different times?
