Meet the “Back to the Future” Time Machine & Dr. Brown
Dr. Emmett Brown (commonly known as “Doc”) from Back to the Future makes his long-awaited return to USJ after 10 years, together with the legendary DeLorean time machine.
If you look closely, you’ll notice Doc is wearing three wristwatches — two on his right arm and one on his left!

“Back to the Future: The Ride” closed on May 31, 2016, making this DeLorean appearance the first in a decade.

The location is just past the park entrance — turn left after the 4D Theater.
The Blues Brothers: Jake & Elwood Meet & Greet
The main characters from the iconic 1980 comedy-musical film “The Blues Brothers” return to USJ for the first time in 17 years since their last appearance in 2009.
Meet Jake Blues (lead vocals) and Elwood Blues (backing vocals).
Fans are eagerly anticipating whether they’ll perform during their appearance.

Ultimate Blues Bash ~ Colors of Music ~
The Blues Brothers join Cookie Monster and Grover on the Sesame Street stage.
Enjoy soulful music and hilarious, high-energy performances that will have you laughing nonstop.

This stage is located near the entrance of the Sing On Tour attraction.
Kuromi Live ~ Discover Me Discover U!!! ~
The My Melody and Kuromi stage show returns once again in 2026!
Now in its third year, the show challenges new instruments, beatboxing, and sampling.
In the grand finale, Kuromi performs her own version of the brand-new parade song “The Power of U”, celebrating USJ’s 25th anniversary.

Power of Rock ~ You Rock! ~
Talented singers deliver an adrenaline-pumping rock stage performance.
Alongside famous rock classics everyone knows, the show also features a rock arrangement of “The Power of U”, an original song created for the 25th Anniversary “NO LIMIT! Parade ~ Discover U!!! Version ~”.

The popular mystery-solving rally from 2025 returns again in 2026.

USJ 25th Anniversary Events
As spring arrives, the moment you step through the park gates, the atmosphere feels different — a truly special year begins at Universal Studios Japan. On March 31, 2026, USJ celebrates its 25th anniversary. The anniversary theme is “Discover U!!!”, expressing both “Discover You” — finding a new side of yourself — and “Discover USJ” — rediscovering the park’s history.
The anniversary year runs from March 4, 2026 to March 30, 2027. The entire park will be filled with celebration, unveiling entertainment on a scale never seen before.
USJ explains that the core of the 25th anniversary is the emotional afterglow — experiences so thrilling that guests can carry that excitement back into their everyday lives.
USJ has continuously evolved at every milestone. During the 20th anniversary in 2021, the theme “NO LIMIT!” symbolized pushing beyond boundaries, featuring street festivals and high-energy performances combining dance and BMX. Even during challenging times, USJ delivered unforgettable excitement.
Now, the 25th anniversary shifts from “breaking limits” to “discovering.” By reigniting the power of movies and storytelling, USJ aims to awaken excitement within every guest.
After 25 years of evolution, USJ continues to grow. In spring 2026, when you walk through the gates, you become the hero of an adventure called “Discover U!!!”.
USJ 25th Anniversary Limited Attractions
In 2026, Conan collaboration attractions such as Conan the Escape and Mystery Restaurant will return.
A brand-new Jujutsu Kaisen attraction will also debut, along with a first-ever attraction themed around Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.
Tips for Enjoying the USJ 25th Anniversary Events
The parade is held once per day at 2:00 PM.
If you don’t need a front-row view, it’s efficient to have lunch at a restaurant around 1:00 PM and wait along the parade route about 15 minutes before it starts.
With so many shows, check the official show schedule released about one week in advance and plan your route accordingly.
The popular Kuromi Live tends to be less crowded in the evening, making it a great target.
